My B&N Event Went Well

My B&N Event Went Well

My Barnes & Noble signing event went really well. I had so many loved ones come out to show some and love support, and I met some new really amazing people within my community as well.
I was so nervous, but after I talked to a few people I started to feel so much more at ease. I really want to thank everyone that came out, especially those that sat with me for awhile such as my mom, my cousin Ashley, my boyfriend, and my dear friend Amy.
I would also like to thank my boyfriends’ parents and daughter, my brother Jer, my sister Melissa, Megatroni, Diane, Barb, Sara and her family, Jeannie, Jazmine, and everyone else that came for a bit. It really meant the world to me. I am so grateful to have been given this opportunity. The staff at Barnes & Noble were all really nice too. They would announce that I was there to do the signing every 30 minutes or so.
There were two people that I got to meet that really stuck out in my mind. There was this really nice young girl who was so nervous to come and speak to me, but I told her that as nervous as she’s feeling is as nervous as I was feeling. Afterward, she relaxed her shoulders and I think it broke the ice for both of us.
The other person that stuck out in my mind was this really nice older woman who is working on her first book and said that she hopes my book will help her understand her best friend better who has bipolar disorder. We talked for a good 30 minutes.
I am so glad that I pushed through the nervousness, anxiety, and some of the disappointment that happened and did this event.
Again, a big THANK YOU to everyone that made my day great!
