Try It: Download & Print Our Updated Monthly Bipolar Mood/Symptom Tracker

For those of you who are like me and are living with bipolar disorder, you have probably been told about the importance of tracking your mood and bipolar symptoms regularly at least once or twice in your life. Tracking your mood and symptoms has quite a few benefits including (but not limited to):

  • Noticing patterns in your symptoms or mood.
  • Identifying and learning triggers.
  • Catching early warning signs for impending mood changes.
  • Being able to show your mental health care team your trackers so that they can get a better idea of where you are at mentally and emotionally so that they can better assist you.
  • Seeing where you have made progress over time.
  • Pinpointing where your mental health needs improvement.

I’ve recently updated the old bipolar mood/symptom tracker that I created eons ago and previously uploaded right here on My Bipolar Mind and I wanted to share the updated version with everyone.

I’ve used this very same tracker off and on over the last 10 years or so and I’ve personally found it beneficial for myself as well as for my mental health care team for all the reasons that I have listed above and then some.

In this updated version I corrected some typos, added instructions, and added to the symptoms list. I created this mood/symptom tracker using Microsoft Excel but it can still be opened using other applications or programs such as Google Sheets. You can either print the tracker out to complete it daily or you can enter your information from your computer, tablet, or smartphone and just continue to save your data right on your device. If you save the data on your device, you can simply forward your tracker to your doctor by attaching it to an email.

The My Bipolar Mind Monthly Bipolar Mood/Symptom Tracker is completely free to anyone who comes across this post or who follows this blog for the time being. I mean, free is free, right? And what could be better than something that is free that has some real potential to help benefit your mental health while making management of your bipolar disorder symptoms a little more less complicated.

You can access the tracker by clicking “Download” below:

Feel free to customize this premade mood/symptom tracker to meet your needs. You can completely remove anything that doesn’t pertain to you and add in what does. It’s very simple to do and easy to figure out.

I have found that charting daily at the end of the day before I go to bed works best for me because by the end of the day I am able to fill it out accurately.

What are you waiting for? Check it out now!

If you downloaded the mood tracker, feedback is always welcomed and appreciated. You can either comment below with your thoughts or send out a personal email to ContactMyBipolarMind@gmail.com. If you tweaked your tracker to make it your own, we would love to see how it turned out! (Ideas for feedback: Did you like it or dislike it? Do you have any suggestions for improvements?) Thank you!
