A Poem | Her Pain
Her Pain
A Poem | Samantha Steiner
She gets high to numb her pain
And suicide is always in the back of her brain
Her depression is swallowing her whole
I can see the black cloud
Following her around
I want to protect her
And take away her pain
I miss her genuine smile
That has now faded away
There is nothing I can do or say
To make her feel okay
And it hurts like hell
Seeing her deteriorate
