Normality Is Nearby

I’ve spent so many years
Feeling so low
And then soaring so high
I’m grateful for the days in between
When normality is near by
It’s been an amazing week
And i’m grateful for every smile
And for every frown
Turned upside down
And to think I almost ended it
On Christmas day
I’m grateful that I fought with all I had
Through my darkest depression
I was able to survive
And stay alive
Because better days have finally arrived
