You Don’t Always Get What You Pay For

It’s been a long day today. This week has been extremely hectic. It’s always one thing after another with no room for a break. I’m hoping next week gets better and I actually have some time to stop and smell the roses.

I did get to enjoy some time with my bestie Samantha. We went out and got our nails done. I’ve been wanting to treat her to a massage. I get a massage about once a month or so and I love them. I’m always telling her I want to take her for a massage since they are amazing. I always go to the same place, it’s the only place I’ve ever been to for a massage.

After we got our nails done we went to a different massage place since it was right next to the nail salon. I was so excited to treat her to her first massage. As I’m getting my massage I kept hoping it would feel better. Not only did it not feel good, it actually hurt. I kept wishing for the buzzer to go off so I could be done with it.

I figured I got someone who just wasn’t good at massages and I was hoping she was enjoying hers. As soon as we walked out she blurted out, “Is that what a massage feels like? It hurt so bad!” I told her no, usually they feel great. Needless to say, I’ll never try a new massage place again. We left in pain, but we had a good laugh that we just paid for someone to beat us up.

When we get our nails done again in two more weeks I’m going to treat her to another massage, but at the place I normally go to. I’m sure she will enjoy the place I go to. We still got to enjoy a great day together. I can’t wait until we have our next girls day!
