Tis’ The Season
After I read Jazmine’s (@jazminegonzalez87) blog post today–I decided to make an entry too. Apparently, I am also playing follow the leader. Christmas is a little over a week away. I still have some gift shopping to do. I also got stuff for Jazmine (a new laptop), my fiance (a massively huge tool chest type thing and headphones), but I still want to get more for him. Especially since I have both of them their gifts way early. I also got 2 of Jazmines 4 kids decent gifts. I just need to get my dad and his family, along with Mikes parents something.
I have been going broke with the holiday season because I love giving. (and receiving–lol) Christmas gifts. At least I don’t have to worry about my mom and my siblings from the maternal side. Well, actually anyone on my maternal side since no will talk to me… And the one aunt that I recently started to talk to is now dead. (::sigh:: Thanks alcohol for killing a family member you evil bastard.) I wish that my mom would show and apologize–What a joke that is.
I am going to try my hardest to enjoy Christmas since that has always been my favorite holiday. Mike and I are going to his parents. I would love to do Christmas dinner with just Mike and me at our apartment. It is going to be hard for me to not break down again. Just thinking about how I will probably feel is making me sad.
Enough about the sad stuff… I cannot wait to get Mike’s present for me. It’s a smartwatch that will synch up to my phone!! I am so excited!! I apologize for not posting anything for a little while now, but I have been consumed with my articles that I do not have much time to do anything else. That’s why I also figured that I would write a post before I get started on my article that is due today. Well, I better get to work! ♥
